WEED ERADICATION & MANAGEMENT, CENTRAL TABLELANDS, NSW

Pampas Grass drone spraying.

New Era Total was recently contracted to survey a large site in the Central West Tablelands to identify the extent of Pampas Grass infestation and propose an efficient method of targeted herbicide spraying.

After careful surveying of the site (parts of the area had difficult access) and extensive client consultation we recommended using an industrial spraying drone. A cocktail of Glypho, Wetter and Envirody was mixed in a proven combination for the most effective delivery. Over two days we covered nearly 30 acres infested with Pampas Grass

Pampas Grass (Cortaderia species) is a very tall, clumpy grass with fluffy flower heads. It competes with native vegetation and is a fire hazard…

… Successful weed control relies on follow up after the initial efforts. This means looking for and killing regrowth or new seedlings. Using a combination of control methods is usually more successful.
